JLMIT Charter
The JLMIT charter was reviewed. It was considered how to best revise it to
match the current state of activities.
The IT reorg is now going out of a project phase and into an operational
phase. It was agreed that there continue
to be important matters to discuss in JLMIT; and that JLMIT is serving a useful
function as a group for addressing IT change across the County. An editable version of the JLMIT charter will
be distributed, and members are invited to submit their ideas for changes to
the document.
ABT
The ABT forum was discussed. It
was described how the union reps attending the Joint Labor Mgmt-ABT meeting
were told to come to JLMIT with any union-related issues. The timeline of ABT was brought up. There was general consensus that there should
be a process of timely and orderly information sharing and a method for
allowing the best possible adjustments for the affected staff to ABT
implementation changes. Chris said she
and Jim Meith would consult more and come back with ideas for how to deal with
this.
LANDesk
Chris
asked for questions and concerns about LANDesk to be put in writing. Peg said she would work on something and
bring it to the next JLMIT meeting.
