STEERING COMMITTEE FORMED

In February, Behnaz Mansouri and Whitney Hupf called together a meeting to discuss the upcoming year of negotiations and the status of the IT Bargaining Unit.  

The meeting had 10 attendees and generated in-depth discussions on the best ways to approach the next year. The group has decided to meet once a month or more to discuss outstanding issues such as:  completing elections for the Shop Stewards and Policy Committee; setting up meetings for Behnaz to speak with members outside of ITS; and generating a list of key items for negotiations.  

The group is now called the Steering Committee and will have great influence in the structure of the IT Bargaining Unit. Please contact me (Behnaz) with any feedback or questions you may have.
